According to Suren Chandrajit, Chief Executive Officer of True Value Solar, the regional solar market presents huge opportunity; however, the metropolitan approach should not simply be duplicated for regional customers: “We wanted a business model that offered regional customers a personal experience. We also wanted local business owners to take advantage of our scale.”
Already, True Value Solar is seeing benefits, with regional customers taking advantage of two new regional franchises based in Bendigo and Wangaratta in Victoria.
Michael Steinlauf, a True Value Solar franchisee, believes that a True Value Solar Franchise was an obvious business decision.
“I was running my own solar business for twelve months, but realised that with the market being as competitive as it is, I needed a partner who could remove some of the operational burdens associated with running the business. This allows me to concentrate on selling and installing solar systems,” explains Mr Steinlauf.
